
University of Kentucky women’s basketball point guard Georgia Amoore has been honored as both the Ann Meyers Drysdale National Player of the Week and the Southeastern Conference (SEC) Player of the Week.
his recognition comes after her stellar performances in recent games, notably tying a school record with a career-high 43 points in a victory against No. 13 Oklahoma.
In addition to these accolades, Amoore has been named a top-five finalist for the Nancy Lieberman Point Guard of the Year Award, which recognizes the nation’s best point guard in women’s college basketball. She has also been selected to the USA Today All-SEC First Team, highlighting her exceptional contributions throughout the season.
