BREAKING: Rangers announce another signing as Ibrox rebuild continues

Rangers have continued reshaping their squad with the signing of Badredine Bouanani from VfB Stuttgart.

The Scottish giants confirmed on September 3 that the Algerian winger had joined on loan, adding another attacking option to Derek McInnes’ squad.

The arrival comes just one day after Rangers announced the signing of Kevin Kelsy from Portland Timbers on an initial four-year contract with an option for an additional year.

The double reinforcement underlines the club’s determination to strengthen its squad after a busy period of recruitment.

Bouanani’s arrival could be particularly interesting because Rangers will want greater creativity and attacking variety as the season progresses. His ability to operate in attacking areas gives McInnes another option when rotating his squad.

Rangers are coming off a 2-1 victory over Falkirk, with Lawrence Shankland scoring twice in the match. The club will now turn its attention to Saturday’s Scottish Premiership meeting with Motherwell at Ibrox.

The new arrivals will increase competition within the squad, while McInnes will hope they can quickly adapt to Scottish football.

For Rangers supporters, the message from the latest moves is clear: the rebuilding process at Ibrox is still very much underway.
