“Kentucky Basketball Lands Commitment from Top Recruit!”
of January 18, 2025, there have been no new commitments to the University of Kentucky men’s basketball program. The most recent significant commitment was from five-star shooting guard Jasper Johnson, who announced his decision to join the Wildcats on September 5, 2024.  Johnson, a Lexington native, chose Kentucky over other top programs, including North Carolina and Alabama. 
In addition to Johnson, Kentucky’s 2025 recruiting class includes four-star center Malachi Moreno, who committed in August 2024, and four-star combo guard Acaden Lewis, who announced his commitment on November 2, 2024. 
These commitments have bolstered Kentucky’s recruiting class, positioning it among the top in the nation.
While there have been no new commitments since Johnson’s announcement, the Wildcats continue to actively recruit top talent for future classes. Fans and analysts are keeping a close watch on potential additions to the program.
