The Cincinnati Bengals have bolstered their defensive line by re-signing veteran defensive tackle B.J. Hill to a three-year, $33 million contract, ensuring his presence through the 2027 season.

Hill, who turns 30 next month, expressed his intention to continue playing at a high level, stating, “Five, six more years.”

Since joining the Bengals in 2021, Hill has been a key contributor, starting 50 games over the past four seasons. In 64 games with Cincinnati, he has recorded 16 sacks and 53 quarterback hits, underscoring his impact on the field.

His leadership extends beyond his on-field performance; Hill is known as a locker-room leader and a source of consistent energy. Strength and conditioning coach Joey Boese praised Hill’s unwavering positivity, noting, “He’s the same guy every day. Doesn’t matter. He’s never down.”

Looking ahead, Hill is optimistic about the Bengals’ defensive prospects under new coordinator Al Golden. He recalled Golden’s previous role during the Bengals’ Super Bowl run in 2021 and believes Golden’s leadership will rejuvenate the defense’s confidence and determination.
