In just his rookie season, Sayers scored 22 touchdowns, including a record-tying 6 TDs in a single game against the 49ers—a performance still talked about today. Whether it was slicing through defenses on a handoff, returning kicks with unmatched acceleration, or making defenders miss in open space, Sayers was pure magic.

Despite a career cut short by injury, his impact on the game was undeniable. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1977, the youngest player ever to receive the honor.
