Wayne Bennett, one of rugby league’s most esteemed coaches, is set to return to the South Sydney Rabbitohs as head coach starting in 2025. The Rabbitohs have confirmed that Bennett will lead the team for the next three seasons, with the contract reportedly valued at $1.2 million per year, extending through to the end of the 2027 season.

Bennett previously coached South Sydney from 2019 to 2021, guiding them to a grand final appearance in his final year.
