In their inaugural season in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), the Texas Longhorns have demonstrated excellence both on the field and in the classroom.

A total of 135 Longhorn student-athletes were named to the 2024 Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll, reflecting the university’s commitment to academic and athletic success.

The honor roll includes student-athletes from various fall sports:

• Cross Country: 21 student-athletes were recognized, with majors ranging from Sport Management to Mechanical Engineering.
• Volleyball: 11 student-athletes earned spots on the honor roll, pursuing degrees in fields such as Exercise Science and Advertising.
• In their inaugural season in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), the Texas Longhorns have demonstrated excellence both on the field and in the classroomuniversity.

To qualify for the SEC Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.00 for the preceding academic year or possess a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above. This achievement highlights the balance Texas student-athletes maintain between rigorous academic programs and demanding athletic schedules.
