
In their inaugural season in the Southeastern Conference (SEC), the Texas Longhorns have demonstrated excellence both on the field and in the classroom.
A total of 135 Longhorn student-athletes were named to the 2024 Fall SEC Academic Honor Roll, reflecting the university’s commitment to academic and athletic success.
The honor roll includes student-athletes from various fall sports:
- Cross Country: 21 student-athletes were recognized, with majors ranging from Sport Management to Mechanical Engineering.
- Volleyball: 11 student-athletes earned spots on the honor roll, pursuing degrees in fields such as Exercise Science and Advertising.

To qualify for the SEC Academic Honor Roll, student-athletes must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.00 for the preceding academic year or possess a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or above.
