Florida football recruiting: Miami Hurricanes outshining Gators, FSU for in-state recruits
The Miami Hurricanes will finish the regular season unbeaten in Florida, and they are running up the score on the state’s recruiting trail in the process.
Their success on the field is translating to success with in-state recruits, and the gap continues to grow as Florida State, Florida and UCF falter.
The Hurricanes hold 22 commitments from the 2025 class, and have the No. 11 class this cycle on 247Sports. No other Florida program ranks higher than No. 47.
Miami is defending a class filled with local talent as flip season continues. The class is headlined by seven Florida four-stars: Hylton Stubbs (No. 1 safety in the state), Girard Pringle Jr. (No. 1 running back in the state), Gavin Nix (No. 3 linebacker in the state) and Max Buchanan (No. 3 inside offensive lineman in the state).
Here’s a look at where the Hurricanes’ class stands less than a month from national signing day.
