Alabama has landed a major victory in its 2025 recruiting efforts with the commitment of five-star offensive lineman Michael Carroll from IMG Academy in Doylestown, Pennsylvania….
Standing 6’6” and weighing 315 pounds, Carroll is widely regarded as the nation’s top-ranked interior offensive lineman and one of the most coveted prospects in the class.
Carroll’s commitment strengthens an already impressive recruiting class for the Crimson Tide. Known for his exceptional size, strength, and technique, Carroll has the versatility to dominate in both pass protection and run blocking. His decision to join Alabama reflects the program’s sustained success in developing elite offensive linemen for the NFL.
Carroll chose Alabama over other powerhouse programs, including Georgia, Ohio State, and Michigan.
Factors influencing his decision reportedly included the Tide’s history of offensive line excellence, their championship pedigree, and the opportunity to work under head coach Nick Saban and offensive line coach Eric Wolford.
“I felt at home in Tuscaloosa and confident that Alabama is the best place for me to develop as a player and person,” Carroll said.
His addition ensures that Alabama remains a dominant force in recruiting as they build for future success in the SEC and beyond.
