The Minnesota Vikings have made a significant move to bolster their offensive line by signing veteran center Ryan Kelly to a two-year, $18 million contract, which includes $9 million guaranteed.

Kelly, 31, spent the first nine seasons of his NFL career with the Indianapolis Colts, earning four Pro Bowl selections and starting 121 games.  Drafted 18th overall in 2016 out of Alabama, Kelly has been a cornerstone of the Colts’ offensive line, known for his leadership and consistency.

This acquisition raises questions about the Vikings’ current center, Garrett Bradbury, who was drafted in the first round in 2019 and remains under contract. It is yet to be determined how Minnesota will integrate both players into their offensive line strategy.
