Rangers are heading into the final days of the Scottish transfer window with plenty of activity still taking place behind the scenes, and a major striker deal could soon be completed at Ibrox.

The Gers are reportedly closing in on a £9 million move for Portland Timbers striker Kevin Kelsy. The Venezuelan forward is understood to have undergone a medical as Rangers look to strengthen their attacking options before the Scottish deadline.

Kelsy’s potential arrival could also trigger further movement within the Rangers squad. Bojan Miovski has attracted interest from Feyenoord, while Turkish club Genclerbirligi have also been linked with the striker. Rangers could be more willing to consider an exit if Kelsy’s arrival is successfully completed.

Meanwhile, Rangers remain interested in Brighton winger Amario Cozier-Duberry. The 20-year-old is reportedly open to a move to Glasgow, although a loan deal could be explored rather than an immediate permanent transfer.

There could also be departures from Ibrox, with Lyall Cameron reportedly in discussions over a possible move to Dundee United.

With the Scottish transfer deadline set for September 3, Rangers still have time to reshape their squad. The arrival of Kelsy could be the first major piece of what promises to be a fascinating few days at Ibrox.
