Liverpool Agree £120m Deal for PSG Star Bradley Barcola

Liverpool have reached an agreement in principle with Paris Saint-Germain for the signing of France international Bradley Barcola in a deal worth up to £120 million.

The proposed transfer represents one of the biggest moves of the summer window and could see Barcola become Liverpool’s latest major attacking signing.

According to reports, the package is understood to include more than £100 million in guaranteed payments, with additional performance-related bonuses taking the overall value to around £120 million. The final structure of the agreement still needs to be completed.

Liverpool make major breakthrough

Negotiations between Liverpool and PSG have accelerated in recent days after the French club initially valued Barcola at around £145 million.

The breakthrough now puts Liverpool in a strong position to complete the transfer before the September 1 deadline.

Barcola has been identified as a major attacking target as Liverpool look to strengthen their forward line.

Why Liverpool want Barcola

The 23-year-old winger has developed into one of Europe’s most exciting attacking players since joining PSG from Lyon in 2023.

His pace, dribbling ability and versatility make him capable of operating from either flank, giving Liverpool another dangerous option in the final third.

His arrival would also provide additional competition among Liverpool’s attacking players.

Barcola’s PSG situation

Barcola has played an important role during his time in Paris, including PSG’s recent Champions League success.

However, his position within Luis Enrique’s preferred starting XI has become less certain, with players including Désiré Doué, Ousmane Dembélé and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia competing for attacking positions.

What happens next?

Liverpool and PSG still have final details to resolve before the transfer can be considered completed.

If everything is finalised, Barcola would become one of the most expensive signings in Liverpool’s history and could arrive at Anfield as a major part of the club’s post-Mohamed Salah attacking plans.

The transfer window closes on September 1, meaning Liverpool will be working quickly to complete the deal.
