Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have stepped up their interest in Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi, with representatives from both Premier League clubs reportedly watching the 22-year-old forward in person on Tuesday.

The latest development highlights the growing attention surrounding Tresoldi, who has emerged as a player of interest to clubs looking for young attacking talent. While Tottenham appear particularly keen on the striker, Manchester United are also keeping a close eye on his progress as they continue to assess options for the future.

Tottenham Keeping Nicolo Tresoldi High on Their List

Tottenham Hotspur are understood to have a strong interest in Tresoldi as they look to increase competition within their attacking ranks.

The north London club wants greater depth and competition up front, and Tresoldi’s profile appears to fit that recruitment strategy. At just 22 years old, the striker could offer Tottenham a player with room for further development while also providing another option in the final third.

Having club representatives attend a match to assess him personally suggests that Tottenham’s interest is more than a routine scouting exercise. The club is continuing to gather information before deciding whether to make a formal approach.

For Tottenham, adding another forward could be important as they look to build greater depth across a demanding season. Competition for places can give a manager more tactical flexibility, particularly when dealing with injuries, fixture congestion and changes in form.

Tresoldi could therefore be viewed as a potential long-term addition rather than simply a short-term solution.

Manchester United Also Monitoring the Striker

Manchester United are also exploring attacking options, and their representatives were present to watch Tresoldi in person.

United’s interest appears to be linked to their broader search for attacking talent capable of contributing in the years ahead. The club has been assessing different profiles as it looks to strengthen and refresh its forward options.

At 22, Tresoldi falls into the age bracket that can appeal to clubs looking for a balance between potential and first-team readiness. Rather than targeting only established stars, clubs can benefit from identifying younger players before their market value rises significantly.

United’s presence at the game does not necessarily mean a transfer is imminent. Scouting is a regular part of recruitment, and clubs often monitor players over several matches before making a decision. However, the fact that representatives watched Tresoldi directly will add to the speculation surrounding his future.

Who Is Nicolo Tresoldi?

Tresoldi is a young striker whose development has attracted increasing attention. His age makes him an appealing prospect for clubs that want to invest in attacking players with potential for further improvement.

For a player at this stage of his career, interest from clubs such as Manchester United and Tottenham could represent an important opportunity. A move to the Premier League would bring increased competition but could also provide a significant platform for his development.

The next step will depend on how the interested clubs assess his performances, consistency and suitability for their respective tactical systems.

Tottenham Could Have the Advantage

Based on the latest information, Tottenham appear to have the stronger interest at this stage.

Spurs reportedly have Tresoldi high on their list of potential targets, while their need for additional competition in attack gives them a clear recruitment reason to pursue the striker.

Manchester United, meanwhile, continue to explore attacking options for the future. Their interest is significant, but it remains unclear whether Tresoldi is currently their priority target.

That distinction could become important if both clubs eventually decide to make an offer. Tottenham’s immediate need for attacking depth could give them an advantage, while United’s larger recruitment strategy could see them consider several alternatives.

Premier League Transfer Battle Could Develop

The presence of both clubs at the same game could be the beginning of an interesting transfer battle.

Tottenham and Manchester United have considerable financial resources and global appeal, meaning Tresoldi could have an important decision to make if both clubs move forward with their interest.

However, there is still a long way to go before a potential transfer can be considered close. Scouting a player is not the same as making an official bid, and negotiations would still need to take place between the relevant parties.

For now, the key development is that both Premier League clubs are monitoring the striker closely.

What Happens Next for Tresoldi?

The coming months could provide a clearer indication of whether the interest develops into concrete transfer activity.

Tottenham are likely to continue monitoring Tresoldi as they search for additional attacking options. Manchester United may also maintain their scouting presence while comparing him with other forwards on their recruitment list.

Tresoldi’s performances will ultimately play a major role in determining whether either club decides to make a move.

For now, the 22-year-old has attracted the attention of two of England’s biggest clubs, with Tottenham seemingly holding the stronger interest. If both Manchester United and Tottenham decide that he fits their long-term plans, Tresoldi could become an increasingly prominent name in the transfer market.

Conclusion

Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur have both sent representatives to watch Club Brugge striker Nicolo Tresoldi, underlining the growing interest in the 22-year-old forward.

Tottenham appear particularly interested, with the striker reportedly high on their list as they look to add competition to their attacking options. Manchester United are also monitoring the situation as part of their search for attacking talent for the future.

There is no indication yet that either club is preparing an immediate formal bid, but continued scouting suggests Tresoldi is firmly on the radar of both Premier League sides.

Should the interest develop into concrete transfer approaches, Tottenham’s immediate need for attacking depth could give them an early advantage. Manchester United, however, remain a major contender and could yet make the race for Tresoldi an intriguing one to follow.
